Christian Curtis, LLC, is a solo practice dedicated exclusively to family law. It consists of one attorney for a reason: Family cases constitute the most sensitive and intimate of all areas of practice. My clients entrust me with confidences that would never emerge in other fields. In exchange for this trust, I owe them as much personal, individualized attention as I can give.

In my experience, multi-attorney firms miss this element. They do, of course, enjoy economies of scale and a certain clout in the legal community. On the other hand, I have had many people come to me from larger-firm experiences complaining that their case was "handed off" to an associate, that they never quite established rapport with one attorney, or that their case was managed in an "assembly line" fashion.

My approach is this: If there was ever a field of law that almost uniquely lends itself to the personal, hands-on approach of a solo practice, this is it. If you need my services, chances are that you are embarking on one of the most traumatic -- and expensive -- travails you will ever know. No two cases are alike, and yours is as unique as anyone's. You deserve unique solutions. This means I must treat you one-on-one; no partners, no associates.

This is how I prefer to do business. If I do right by you, good things come around. That is why I seldom advertise. My clients refer friends and family to me. Colleagues in the legal profession, even former opponents, do likewise. On more than one occasion, substitute judges have also sent me referrals.
