Michael K. Bane, Member of Chicago Debt Solutions

Michael Bane is an Owner and Partner of Trepeck Bane, P.C., d/b/a Chicago Debt Solutions. 

Michael received his J.D. from the DePaul College of Law in Chicago and became licensed to practice law in the State and Federal Courts of Illinois.  Mr. Bane joined the nation's largest bankruptcy firm soon after being licensed and initially worked in their Chicago office.  During his time there he advanced to the position of Senior Attorney and became responsible for the training and education of new associates in bankruptcy matters.  Michael was eventually given the responsibility of traveling to different locations in the Western United States and opening new bankruptcy offices in California and Nevada, as well as conducting training in those and other locations.  Michael left there to join a mid-sized firm where he became the supervising attorney and managed all bankruptcy aspects of the practice.

Michael has counseled and represented thousands of consumers in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies, and has also handled Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters for both corporations and individuals.  Michael formed Chicago Debt Solutions with Julie Trepeck to ensure that the needs of clients are properly met and assessed on an individualized level.  He is dedicated to providing good service for debt relief, to his clients, and protecting their legal rights under the United States Bankruptcy Code.
