Mr. Hobbs specializes in estate planning and administration; trust drafting and administration; and commercial, bankruptcy, and corporate law. He frequently advises clients regarding limited-liability companies as well as business and individual tax planning. His practice includes the formation of corporations, partnerships, and other business entities. He also maintains a bankruptcy practice including the representation of personal and corporate clients. Mr. Hobbs handles commercial and residential real estate transactions for the firm and for Lawyer's Choice Title, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary. He is an agent for the Chicago Title Company and Commonwealth Land Title Company.
Mr. Hobbs has taught estate and trust law at Villa Julie College in Stevenson, Maryland and is a frequent lecturer with the National Business Institute . He is a member of the Baltimore County and Maryland State Bar Associations. He is a member of the Maryland Estate Planning Council and the Estates and Trusts Section of the Maryland State Bar Association and currently serves as Chairman of the Estate and Trust Committee of the Baltimore County Bar Association . In addition to all Maryland courts, Mr. Hobbs is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
