Megan Porio, Member of Castronovo & McKinney, LLC

Megan Frese Porio focuses her practice on employment litigation and counseling on behalf of individuals and management. Her experience includes litigating claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and breach of contract brought before state and federal courts, the EEOC, and state administrative agencies. Megan also counsels clients on restrictive covenants, employee policies and practices, employment and separation agreements, federal and state family leave laws, union elections, collective bargaining, and grievance arbitrations. In addition, Megan is experienced in litigating complex commercial class actions and qui tam matters.  Prior to joining Castronovo & McKinney, Megan practiced at Gibbons, P.C. in Newark, New Jersey. Megan has been selected by her peers to the New Jersey Super Lawyers - Rising Star list.  Megan was the law clerk to the Honorable Edwin H. Stern, Presiding Judge for Administration, Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division and intern to the Honorable John W. Bissell, Chief Judge, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Megan attended Fordham University School of Law and graduated cum laude.  She was the Senior Writing & Research Editor for the Fordham Sports Law Forum and a Member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal.  Megan attended college at Georgetown University and graduated cum laude.  She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
