Kathleen Birmingham-Petrello, Member of Bryan L. Salamone and Associates, PC
Kathleen Birmingham-Petrello is a senior associate and has been a practicing attorney for almost twenty years. She took Departmental Honors from SUNY Farmingdale in Liberal Arts in 1987 and a BBS in Public Accounting from Hofstra University in 1988. She is a Hofstra Law Graduate finishing her law studies in two and a half years graduating in January 1991 and passing the New York State and New Jersey Bar the following July.
Her years of practice have been concentrated in the areas of Matrimonial and Family Law and additional areas of practice related to the matrimonial actions such as Real Property and Wills and Trusts. Before becoming associated with the law firm of Bryan L. Salamone & Associates, Ms. Birmingham-Petrello was the founder and principle of a Long Island Divorce and Family Law firm. Ms. Birmingham-Petrello has also owned businesses in New York and throughout the United States and has vast business and financial background as well as an accounting degree. At Bryan L. Salamone PC she focuses on obtaining support for mothers and homemakers and handling settlement/mediation documents and conferences involving high net worth individuals and complex business interests. With her considerable experience in business, accounting and matrimonial law, she analyzes and enforced a parties need to be supported based on lifestyle and expenses. She handles high conflict (abuse and domestic violence cases) in Suffolk, Nassau, Manhattan and the Boroughs. Her legal talent in accounting/business experience is a welcome addition to the firm.
Further, she has been involved in Appellate Division cases whereby Child Support Modification issues have been decided and one primary case has been cited and used in instructional materials for members of the bar.
