Jonathan R. Bromberg is a partner in the Rockville, Maryland law firm of Bromberg Rosenthal LLP. Mr. Bromberg's practice emphasizes commercial and real estate law including credit union representation, business law, estate planning, Social Security Disability and general litigation.
He received his undergraduate and graduate training at the State University of New York at Stony Brook receiving a B.S. in Physics in 1970 and M.S. in Urban and Policy Sciences in 1972. He received his legal training at the Washington College of Law of American University in Washington, D.C. and received his J.D. in 1979. Before entering private practice in 1981, he was an attorney in the Bureau of Consumer Protection of the Federal Trade Commission. He is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars.
Mr. Bromberg has served as a Panel Chair hearing cases brought before the Montgomery County Commission on Common Ownership Communities; he served on the MSBA Law Practice Management Section Council and on the MSBA's Technology Task Force; He is a Member and former Chair of the MSBA's Solo and Small Firm Practice Section Council. He has lectured and moderated numerous programs for the MSBA related to real estate, technology and law practice; He also regularly teaches seminars for first time home buyers under the auspices of Housing and Community Initiatives (HCI) and served as a member of the Board of Directors of HCI. He has been a member of GCAAR for 15 years and has served on GCAAR’s Contract and Clauses Committee for several years.
