Brian J. Tyler is life-long resident of Central-Pennsylvania, hailing from McSherrystown, Adams County. He received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Air Force in 1988. After military service, he returned to Adams County to attend Gettysburg College, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1991. He received his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law, in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, in 1996. His extensive experience representing consumers and small business in all aspect of bankruptcy law and also the boarder debt resolution practice, mark him for distinction among his peers. Attorney Tyler lectures frequently in his field and has served as a court-appointed mediator for the United States Bankruptcy Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania since 1998. He is a graduate of “Leadership Harrisburg Area” and was named a "Rising Star" in Pennsylvania law in 2005 and 2006 by Pennsylvania "Super Lawyers" and Philadelphia Magazine.
