Arif Haque is committed to providing high quality, cost effective legal services to immigrants and their families. In 2005, Mr. Haque earned his Juris Doctor from the Washington University School of Law. He was a quarter finalist in the university's Wiley Rutledge Moot Court Competition. Mr. Haque also participated in Washington University's Civil Justice Clinic, where he provided free legal services to individuals facing a variety of difficult problems including domestic abuse and the threat of foreclosure. During his second and third years of law school, Mr. Haque advocated for low income immigrants and their families through the Refugee and Asylum Seeker Project administered by Interfaith Legal Services for Immigrants. Prior to his law degree, Mr. Haque received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Evansville, and his M.B.A. from the University of Southern Indiana.
Before focusing on immigration law, Mr. Haque worked for over four years with the law firm of Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Haque assisted employers in the preparation of their handbooks and policies and also appeared on behalf of employers in litigation, arbitration, mediation, and administrative hearings.
Mr. Haque is a member of the Missouri and Illinois Bars, and is admitted to practice before numerous U.S. District Courts, including the Eastern District of Missouri and the Central District of Illinois. Mr. Haque is also admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Because many immigration matters are strictly federal in nature, Mr. Haque has provided legal services to individuals throughout the country.
