Charles Douglas, Member of Harrell and Harrell

Charlie Douglas was born and raised a few miles south of Jacksonville in Palatka, FL. Charlie then headed west to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida where he majored in Business Administration and graduated summa cum laude.

During law school at the University of Florida, Charlie was elected Editor-in-Chief of the Florida Law Review and graduated second in his class of 211.

In 2000, Charlie was named Florida's Youth Advocate of the Year for his work in combating tobacco company tactics. As a result of that success, the American Legacy Foundation invited Charlie to serve as a national spokesperson where he maintained his pursuit of exposing the truth about Big Tobacco.

His areas of specialization are personal injury litigation and insurance disputes. He also serves as counsel to the First Amendment Society which seeks to protect commercial free speech in Florida.

Charlie enjoys hunting, fishing, flying, and all water sports.
