Ann Baum is a partner with the Boston law firm of Baum & Dockter and concentrates her practice in complex matrimonial matters and custody disputes, including those involving non-traditional families and high-conflict cases.

A graduate of New York University School of Law, Ann was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1970 and brings with her a lifetime of experience and expertise. Before opening her own practice, Ann worked as an Associate Professor at Boston College Law School, as the Director of Boston College's legal clinical program, as a Managing Attorney with Greater Boston Legal Services, and as an Attorney with a large local firm.

Since opening her practice, Ann has focused exclusively in the area of Divorce & Family Law and is widely recognized as a preeminent practitioner and go-to attorney for complex and high-conflict cases. Ann is a frequent speaker and lecturer throughout Massachusetts and in addition to her work as passionate advocate in the courtroom, she is also a trained mediator, parenting coordinator, and Guardian ad Litem.

Outside of law, Ann is proud of her history as a professional chef instructor and an accomplished tournament bridge player.
