James Harrison Banks, Member of Banks Law Offices, LLC

James Banks is a Managing Member of Banks Law Offices, LLC.  He engages in criminal defense, DWI/DUI defense, business and estate planning, municipal court, personal injury, immigration, intellectual property and family law matters.  He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York.  In addition, he a licensed Patent Attorney with the US Patent & Trademark Office.

Mr. Banks graduated from Cooper Union in 1994 with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering.  After graduating from Cooper Union, Mr. Banks worked for Pfizer, where he worked in manufacturing for 12 years.  While working at Pfizer, Mr. Banks obtained and MBA in Finance from Rutgers University and received he Juris Doctorate while attending Seton Hall Law School in the evenings.

Mr. Banks is a member of the Bergen County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Assocation.  He regularly performs pro-bono work for Parters for Women & Justice in Montclair, New Jersey.
