He was admitted to practice in the State of Michigan in 1999. He is admitted to practice law in the Eastern District and Western District of the U.S. District Court. He is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association and the Detroit Bar Association. He has been a member of the State Bar of Michigan family law section for many years. He also has been a member of the State Bar of Michigan criminal law section and CDAM. He is a member of the Michigan Association for Justice. He has not been disciplined by the State Bar of Michigan.
