Lien Stripping Motions

Description: For clients whose real estate is less than the mortgage amount owed, A.E. Hilton & Associates have successfully filed Chapter 13 "lien stripping" motions, in Bankruptcy Courts with appraisals verifying the fallen property value.

Outcome: As long as the Debtor in Bankruptcy completes the plan payments to the Trustee, at the end of the Bankruptcy the lender is ordered to deed the property back to the property owner and the unsecured mortgage is canceled.
