Ms. Du Par has over 18 years experience as an attorney specializing in family law and landlord/tenant law. She is a dedicated attorney who will provide you with efficient and effective legal representation. She can work with you and your case efficiently and effectively. Her office is streamlined with the latest technology. She can work with you either on a retainer basis where your hire her to represent you in court or a limited scope attorney where she works with you on an hourly basis to assist you in a consulting role.
The firm adopts a team approach when appropriate to address client issues, calling in Accountants, Property Appraisers, Mental Health Professionals/Counselors, Medical Experts, Specialist Trial Litigators as Co-Counsel to handle discovery and preparation of large complex cases for trial, Business Evaluators, Financial, Insurance and other experts to ensure the best approach is taken to address our clients’ needs.
Limited Scope Representation/ Unbundled Services
Ms. Du Par offers limited scope, or unbundled services, which allows you to retain an attorney to handle only the specific areas that require expert legal assistance. Limited scope covers a range of legal services. Rather than being retained to handle your entire case, you may retain my services for the limited purpose(s) of your choice. For example, you may want assistance with strategy, document preparation, ghostwriting, or coaching for custody mediation, while you handle the rest of your case. The benefit to you is that you can manage your litigation budget by doing parts of the case yourself and retaining legal services for tasks that you do not think you can do effectively yourself. With Limited Scope Representation the client-attorney team agree in advance which issues will be handled by whom. The client can then purchase as much or as little legal advice as they want and pay for the services when they are provided.
Ms. Du Par has been a resident of Marin County for over fourteen years. Prior to moving to Marin County she had an office in Palo Alto, CA located on University Avenue and provided legal services in Santa Clara and San Mateo county. She has volunteered and participated in pro bono activities in the area of family law throughout the course of her career. She speaks French fluently and is available to assist French speaking clients.
