Solomon Bedford , Member of The Bedford Law Firm - Criminal Defense

      Mr. Solomon Bedford is a third-generation native Austinite with strong ties to
      the community.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Human
      Communications Studies and English at Texas State University located in San
      Marcos, Texas.  While attending Texas State University, he worked for a U.S.
      Congressman Gene Green (D-29th Dist of Houston), and The Texas Attorney
      General, and was a member of the university’s national award winning LBJ
      Debate Team.  

      After graduating from Texas State University, he simultaneously attended
      Howard University School of Law and Howard University Graduate School of
      Business located in Washington, D.C.  While attending Howard University, Mr.
      Bedford worked for the Litigation Division of The American Association of
      Retired Persons, and was the Graduate Research Assistant at Howard
      University's Department of Finance and Economic Studies for the Chair of the
      Graduate Department of Finance.

      After graduating with Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Juris
      Doctorate degrees from Howard University, Mr. Bedford remained in
      Washington, D.C. where he worked as a mergers and acquisitions consultant.  
      In 2002, Mr. Bedford returned to his hometown of Austin, Texas, where he
      worked as a consultant to the Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company, a
      quasi-governmental trust company chartered to invest revenues of the State of
      Texas in capital markets.  Soon thereafter, Mr. Bedford entered the private
      practice of law.  In addition to his practice, Mr. Bedford sits on the boards of
      several non-profit organizations whose directives are community development.
