US Passport

A US passport is a booklet issued by the United States Department of State that allows travel by Americans anywhere in the world. A United States passport allows safe and free access in and out of any country in the world, as well as safe re-entrance back into the United States. This document has become very popular and recommended to carry not only for international travel, but also as an alternative form of identification. A US passport contains a picture and basic information about the individual and allows for stamps to be provided at each country visited. It is now required that a United States passport be obtained by all citizens of the country not just for travel outside of North America, but also for travel to Canada and Mexico as well.
