Female discrimination is defined as using the gender as a basis for decisions at work or school, including advancement, termination, hiring, pay raises, grades, or giving positive or negative reviews. This behavior is prohibited as stated in the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title VII. While many individuals who discriminate against females are persons of authority to the female, there are also many cases of females being discriminated against by their co-workers, fellow students and peers.
