A DUI in Oklahoma is one of three offenses in Oklahoma that can result in driving recklessly. To be charged with a DUI, you must either be charged with endangering others with your driving or with having a blood alcohol content of over .08%. Both can result in community service, fines, and jail time. However, if you’re sitting in your car and drunk, you can still be charged with an APC, or Actual Physical Control charge. You may also be charged with a DWI, or Driving While Impaired, if your blood alcohol content is less than .08%
