DUI Lawyers in Georgia
If you’re arrested for a DUI in Georgia, you may be prosecuted for one of two reasons: either your driving was impaired due to alcohol consumption, or your blood alcohol concentration level was over the legal amount. There are three different levels of DUIs in Georgia. The one you’ll be charged with depends on a number of factors, including your age and the amount of alcohol in your blood. If you are found guilty of a DUI, it will remain on your record for up to five years; however, a judge may ignore this five year rule in some cases.
