Divorce in Idaho

In the state of Idaho there is a divorce rate of 6.2 per 1000 population. When this is compared to the national average of 3.6 per 1000 population, you can see it is quite high. The law concerning divorce is different in each state, and Idaho is no exception. There are two types of divorce in the state, fault and no-fault. Property in the marriage will be divided by the community property principle. This means that any property acquired by either party in the marriage is thought to be owned by the both of them.
